(More customer reviews)I would like to rate these shoes higher because they are comfortable and look quite nice, but the waxy coat on the outside of the shoe seems to be shedding off after only a handful of wears in pedestrian settings. The shoes come with a label saying that the color may leak somewhat, but after only having worn them 3 times, I'm noticing that the color isn't just leaking, it's falling away altogether, leaving a grayish area behind. This concerns me, particularly since they have not even been in light precipitation. If I wear them and it rains, can I expect them to be completely ruined? If so, what was the point of "waxing" the suede in the first place? Perhaps they will stay at this level. I hope so. But if it continues I will feel pretty ripped off.
I have a fairly wide foot and the 12m fit just fine, snug but not tight. Here's hoping the color doesn't fade away completely.
