The heal collapses so you can slip it on fast: a great feature when camping and you need to scramble out of the tent in a hurry. Dries fast and is super stable when crossing a stream bed full of moss covered rocks. The mesh allows the feet to breathe. I have one in every color and would buy more but Amazon doesn't have any in a 6.5!
