(More customer reviews)As a life long sail boat racer, power boater, and fisherman, I spend a lot of time in this type of shoe. I have a wide foot and Sebago makes most sizes in 11.5 Wide, perfect for me! The shoes wear like iron, grip well of most surfaces, wet or dry, and are quite comfortable. Like any leather shoe, they take longer than synthetic materials to dry when they are soaked, a minor problem for me. I've been virtually every brand and price range, and these are not the cheapest, but they are the best value.
Like so many good things, though, Sebago has been acquired by a larger company and the range of sizes has begun to shrink. It will be interesting to see they can keep their traditional "up east" quality and customer service in the new environment.
