(More customer reviews)I bought a pair of these after hearing nothing but rave reviews about Dr. Martens shoes. I'd wanted to buy a pair for awhile, and my old shoes fell apart after wearing them for a couple of years. So I went on Amazon and found these in my size (Size 16). I don't have the luxury of trying on anything but dress shoes thanks to my huge feet (stores don't carry my size), so I have to just buy online and hope for the best.
Well, not even a day after wearing these, the skin on the back of my feet, right above the ball of my foot, has basically been cut up by the shoes, causing pain with each step I take in them. I've never had this issue with any other pair of shoes I've worn.
I've learned my lesson. Dr. Martens is a brand to avoid like the plague. Back to New Balance for me.
