(More customer reviews)i bought these shoes because i was looking for a pair to wear to sanibel island (lots of shells and sharp pointy things in the water). wanted a pair that looked like normal walking shoes and could be used as such, as well as being usable in water. unfortunately, i haven't gone on vacation yet and can not rate the water aspect, but the shoes look exactly like the picture. i found the fit to be good, true to size, and looked like a good quality shoe. i am pleased with the purchase and think it will meet my island needs.

The body of a canvas sneaker with the spirit of a boat shoe, the Blackfin is unlike any other water footwear on the market. Omni-Shield technology means it repels dirt and resists water and the molded Techlite heel cup mimics the same technology used in swim fins, for a super-snug and comfortable fit. The upper is sewn directly to the midsole, eliminating the need for a messy, water-absorbing insole. Drainage ports in the outsole move water away from the foot while the razor siped diamond tread pattern provides top-notch traction on wet and dry surfaces alike. Bottom line? Waterside footwear just got a high-performing makeover.
